MEITIM organizes the Ist International Wokshop on “Skills and Competencies of the XXIst Century Workforce” at Lappeenranta University of Technology – LUT (Finland). 18–19th November 2020

MEITIM has the devotion of providing to its students the professional skills and capacity to take advantage of technology advances to contribute to the development of business in new competitive environments. This means to start preparing those professionals some years before they will need to apply those skills.

Explore the different opinions, currents, and trends existing in the Raw Materials sector.

Share the expert’s analysis and perspectives on the future evolution of the needs of qualified personnel together with their vision of the evolution of the sector and of the technological capabilities

Defining which are those skills and professional capacities needed is the key for the educational strategy of MEITIM, and the workshop is the place where leading companies, research centers, and stakeholders will meet together with selected speakers and renown professional figures in industry to analyze and discuss which are the professional they will need in a close future.

Due to the mobility restrictions and safety measures against Covid19, the workshop has moved to a virtual event, with the main stage at LUT University and live transmission online.
